CDLAN is pleased to announce the OIX-2 neutrality certification of its Caldera21® data center, the first in Italy to obtain it


MILAN – December 15, 2017. Caldera21®, the new CDLAN data center located in the Milan campus of the same name in Via Caldera 21, is the first Italian data center to obtain global certification from Open IX, a self-regulating community based in New York created for promote the development of technical and operational standards of Data Centers and Internet Exchange Points and their development in a digital ecosystem that works for everyone. The OIX-2 certification is the first global certification for data centers wishing to offer themselves as truly neutral network interconnection points such as Caldera21® and has been promoted with broad support by data center managers at international level and by their own customers who are eager to greater guarantees from the operator in charge of hosting their systems. The certification establishes that the data center is formally committed not to discriminate in any way, neither from a technical or commercial point of view, third parties who intend to provide their services to companies hosted within the DC itself.
