Reactivity, change, collaboration and responsibility.
These are the four words that explain how CDLAN has implemented the Decree issued by the Prime Minister.

These are the words that guide us in this unmatched historical moment, in which we are called to do our best.

Reactivity. We immediately did everything possible to limit contact between people, well beyond the recommended meter:

  • limiting access to the Data Center to urgent interventions only, carrying out checks on all the requests and discounting Remote Hands services by 50%;
  • implementing home working for 80% of the staff and placing the remaining in different rooms.

Change and Collaboration. When the emergency arose, we knew that our habits would have to change significantly, but we struggled to seize the opportunities.

  • We’ve adopted home working by drawing on the technological resources that we already use in our everyday life.
  • All activities continue and day by day we discover new ways of collaboration to maintain fluidity in our work, constant presence, quality, efficiency and greater attention to what we do minute by minute.

Responsibility. We’re focusing our energies, be it remotely or in our H24 control room, to guarantee all our services (Data Center, Internet access, voice and Cloud services) because we know the operation of thousands of people depends on them.

What we feel is a great sense of responsibility. But we also feel lucky, because we know we can help.

We hope this period will end quickly and meanwhile we want to remind you Albert Einstein’s words:

“Crisis is the best blessing that can happen to people and countries, because crisis brings progress. Creativity is born from the distress, as the day is born from the dark night. It is in crisis that invention, discovery and large strategies are born. Who ever overcomes crisis, outdoes himself without being overcome. It is in the crisis where the best of each other rise up, without crises any wind is caress. Talk of crisis is to promote it, and silent in the crisis is to exalt conformity. Instead of that, work hard. Get it over with the only crises threatening, that is the tragedy of not wanting to fight for it”.
